Exactly. I'm not sure whether it's an age thing or not, realising that Mr Perfect may actually be Mr Annoying In Parts But Really Awesome In Other Parts Which Outweigh The Annoying Parts. I do agree that liking each other and wanting to be together goes a long way to maintaining a strong relationship. (So does watching DVD sets together, apparently - at least according to one newspaper item I've read recently.) For me, at least, having someone who treats you as an equal partner (even when they're rolling their eyes at you for not noticing something blindingly obvious - this goes both ways with us, incidentally!) is priceless.
